PROJECT BACKGROUD

The Malolos – Clark Railway Project (MCRP) is the second section of the Philippines Government new railway linking Tutuban in Manila with the International Airport at Clark city in Pampanga. This section is principally an elevated precast concrete viaduct commencing North West of the city of Malolos in the province of Bulacan and running for approximately 50 kilometers to Clark city in the province of Pampanga closely following the route of the old Philippines National Railway (PNR) line.

Contract CP N-03 scope is Building and Civil Engineering Works for approximately 12.24 Km of elevated rail viaduct, including three balanced cantilever bridges. Diversions and river training is required for an approximately 1 kilometer stretch of the Sapang Balen River. Two elevated station buildings are also included which are Angeles and Clark Stations.

LOCATION OF PROJECT

  • The project is located in San Fernando, Angeles & Mabalacat, province of Pampanga between Ch 67+440 and Ch 79+680

SCOPE OF WORK

The scope of Work consists of 12.24 Kms of elevated railway viaduct with two 3-level stations at Angeles and Clark including E&M installation works for the stations, the provision of elevators and escalators, the station building services, waste water treatment plant, fire alarm system, the building information management system, signage and other ancillary works. The particular scope of works for package CP N-03 are listed below:-

  1. Initial Preparatory Works
  2. Civil Engineering and Building Works including Electrical and Mechanical Works
    – Viaduct commences at the location of Pier 825 to Pier 1139
    – Station: two stations are required which are Angeles (73Km+655) and Clark (78Km+590)
  3. Material and Equipment Subject to Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
  4. Contractor Temporary Facilities
